2. Floor Sanding – It is the process of removing the top layer of the wood floor using sandpaper like abrasive material. Then using the medium grade paper, the entire floor is vacuumed, the nail holes are filled in, and then starts the fine sanding. It is dry form of sanding and helps to remove excessive fillers and all the traces of previous coarse sanding.

 

timber-repair-23. Floor Polishing & Staining – After sanding, a special base coat which seals the timber and raises the grain. They are treated again, before applying the second and third coat. A few hours gap and someday 1 day gap is given in between these coatings to let them dry. After that, the waterbased coating or Polyurethane coating is applied that dries withing 8 hours but takes around a week to harden and become durable. Once this step is done, the floor is laid to rest and the end results are awestrucking.
